Naomi Campbell responded to pregnancy rumours with a flawless Instagram

Naomi CampbellNaomi Campbell just served a lesson in how to shut down a rumour. One day after her rumoured boyfriend, Grime MC Skepta, posted a mysterious sonogram on his Instagram account with the title “Baby Adenuga”—which is his last name—the supermodel has seemingly set the record straight on her own Instagram.

While Campbell didn’t bother to address the rumours that she and Skepta are expecting, she did post a bikini photo revealing her flat stomach. “HAPPY 1st Of AUGUST MY LOVES,” she coyly captioned the photo of her flawlessly standing aboard a yacht.

Skepta didn’t give any more context to the photo of the ultrasound he posted, other than adding a rose emoji, leaving his followers guessing. It’s possible that the ultrasound could belong to one of his family members, though, as he has two brothers and a sister, all of whom are also active in the music industry.

Whether or not Campbell’s intention was to dismiss any pregnancy talk, she has opened up before about her desire to have children one day. Last May, she told the Evening Standard, “I think about having children all the time.” The 48-year-old isn’t in a rush, though. “Now, with the way science is, I think I can do it when I want,” she added, before revealing that she would hope to bring children into the world with a partner. “I do want a father figure. I think it’s important.”

The year before, Campbell said the same. “I’m not saying I won’t have children,” she told The Sunday Times. “I could have children. I just don’t know which way I’ll have children. But I think I’ll have children, everyone thinks I’ll be a good mother. I’ve always considered it. I’ll just do it when I’m ready. I’m not rushing to anyone’s drumbeat, I’m going to my own.”

Meanwhile, Skepta is clearly a fan of children, as he built a playground for kids in Nigeria a couple of years ago. “Me and my Dad been talking about making a place for the children to play in his village in Nigeria,” he explained at the time on Instagram, per NME. “He sent me these pics and my heart is smiling… Gonna keep developing this playground and hope we inspire kids to get into activities and maybe find talents they never knew they had. More life.”

How your fave celebs celebrated Mandela Day

mandela dayThe 18th of July marks a very special day in South Africa. It is a day known as Mandela Day where we celebrate the great life of the father of our nation, the late Nelson Mandela. But it doesn’t end there, we also give 67 minutes of our time to help those in need. Yesterday people from all over the country and some in other parts of the world spent 67 minutes giving back in honour of the Madiba. Here’s a look at how some of our favourite celebrities spent their 67 minutes:

My afternoon stop was at Jabulani Khakibos boys home in Berea, and their motto is “Positively impacting the lives of children living and working in the streets.”. The boys age from 8-18yrs and over the last 3 months two boys graduated from Boston College. Their methodology is to intrinsically develop and build the man within, from teaching them when they come back from school how to work with money, budget, life skills and making the right choices for their young lives. At Connect Channel we knitted 100 blankets over the last two months and today it was our blessing to be able to bless and keep the boys warm. We gave the boys haircuts, played soccer and had a meal together. #ConnectCares #ConnectTV #ConnectChannel #BeTheLegacy #Madiba100

Ashley Graham had the best response to a commenter who said she looks pregnant

Ashley GrahamAshley Graham’s dealt with her fair share of body shamers. In October she hit back at Instagram commenters who criticized her workout videos. Before that, she opened up about how boyfriends broke up with her out of fear she’d be “too fat” later in life. It’s frustrating Ashley Graham can’t just live her life without somebody making a snarky comment, but she handles the scrutiny in stride.

And what happened this week is no exception to that. The supermodel took to Instagram on Tuesday (July 17) and shared a video of herself dancing to N.E.R.D. and Rihanna’s “Lemon” while wearing a bikini on vacation. Graham, 30, looks like she’s having a blast, but the good vibes were thwarted by an Instagram user who suggested Graham appears pregnant in the video.

“Good Morning… Ashley!!!!$ Looking good…. Baby bump…. :))))),” a user who goes by @magbody wrote in the comments section.

Of course, it didn’t take long for Graham to clap back. “@magbody that’s just called fat,” she replied. Check out Graham’s original post and comment exchange below:

This is a good time to remind everyone that it’s never OK to make comments or assumptions about another person’s body. Full stop. Thankfully, Graham has a blank-you attitude when it comes to situations like this. “I kind of just give my middle finger to [haters], like, ‘Guess what? I’m really hot,’” she told Glamour in 2016. “Every day I get at least 20 messages [saying I’ve helped them]. I hope they look in the mirror and say, ‘I am beautiful.’ When you do that, it’s a whole other ball game—you start to understand that your words have power.”
