7 Quick fire questions with mega model Afiya Bennett

You might recognise mega model Afiya Bennett from Season 2 of Naomi Campbell‘s The Face. In the model competition, Bennett managed to snag the runner-up spot and has since secured a myriad of editorial and commercial features like Vogue Japan, Maybelline, and is the global brand ambassador for Fiji Water. You’ve also possibly seen her serving fierce looks on Instagram, where she has a loyal following of over 106K. Ms. Bennett is also the soon-to-be wife of fellow model Lloyd Dickenson. We think it’s safe to say that Afiya is #Winning!

To get to know her on a more personal level, we asked Afiya Bennett 7 quickfire questions.

1. Favorite colour? 
My favorite color is white, although it is constantly changing.

2. Favorite meal?
My favorite meal is sushi, can’t go wrong with a shrimp tempura roll.

3. When was the last time you cried
The last time I cried was last night. I’m in London for a month for work and as exciting as it is, I feel a bit homesick in a foreign country away from friends and family.

4. Favorite person?
My favorite person would have to be my mom, she always knows how to lift my spirit, in the good times and bad.

5. Most treasured item of clothing in your wardrobe?
My most treasured article of clothing in my wardrobe is a pair of black jeans because they go with everything.

6. What hair and skincare products are in your bathroom cabinet?
The dark spot corrector from Kiehl’s is one of my all time favorite skin products. As for hair products I make my own mix of castor oil and wild grow oil to keep my hair flourishing.

7. What’s on your iPod right now?
I actually don’t own an Ipod, but if I did I would have everything from 90’s R&B to Hip pop and Gospel on there.
